No Right Way was written during one of the hardest seasons of my life . . trying to hold a family together when emotions were high, relationships were strained, and everyone was carrying their own pain. It came from the feeling of being caught in the middle, trying to love and support the people closest to me, even when they couldn’t fully see or understand each other.
Blended family dynamics can be complicated. There’s love, but also history. There’s effort, but sometimes misunderstanding. This song was a way to process all of that . . the weight of wanting to keep peace, meet everyone’s needs, and not lose myself in the process. It’s not about blame. It’s about how hard it is to navigate moments when there isn’t a perfect answer . . when doing your best still leaves someone hurting.
At its core, No Right Way is about staying present. About holding on. About showing up for the people you love, even when things are messy. If you’ve ever felt torn between two people you care about, this one’s for you.

Trying to hold the weight of both sides
One slip, and it’s all a landslide
Every word feels like a landmine
And I’m tryna step light
But how do I fix what I didn’t break?
How do I give when there’s more to take?
Every move I make, I hesitate
(Ohh, mmm)
‘Cause someone’s always losing when I play it safe
And if I choose a side, it’s a big mistake
No way out, I just rotate
(Ohh, mmm)
There’s no right way to make it okay
Someone’s gonna hurt, someone’s gonna say
That I let ‘em down, that I walked away
But I swear I stayed, I swear I stayed
No right way to make it alright
One heart wins while the other’s tight
Every bridge I build gets set in flames
And I take the blame, I take the blame
Five days, counting down the minutes
Every plan feels like I’m not in it
Late texts, yeah, I know I missed it
And I get why you’re livid
But how do I fix what I didn’t break?
How do I give when there’s more to take?
Every move I make, I hesitate
(Ohh, mmm)
‘Cause someone’s always losing when I play it safe
And if I choose a side, it’s a big mistake
No way out, I just rotate
(Ohh, mmm)
There’s no right way to make it okay
Someone’s gonna hurt, someone’s gonna say
That I let ‘em down, that I walked away
But I swear I stayed, I swear I stayed
No right way to make it alright
One heart wins while the other’s tight
Every bridge I build gets set in flames
And I take the blame, I take the blame
Maybe love’s not picking sides
Maybe love’s just trying
Maybe love’s just staying
Even when you can’t get it right
There’s no right way to make it okay
Someone’s gonna hurt, someone’s gonna say
That I let ‘em down, that I walked away
But I swear I stayed, I swear I stayed
No right way to make it alright
One heart wins while the other’s tight
Every bridge I build gets set in flames
And I take the blame, I take the blame
Ooh, mmm, no right way
Ooh, mmm, no right way
